Section: Closed Accounts
Here are old accounts you chose to close. They will show up up to 7 years and possibly more. They have very little influence on your credit score and credit rating. These could be consolidated school loans, excessive credit cards you were advised to close to improve your credit picture, old mortgages, etc.
- There are notes stating "CLOSED", or "ACCOUNT CLOSED BY CONSUMER", "ACCOUNT TRANSFERRED OR SOLD".
- Under status column there is an entry "PAID" or "INACTIVE"
